If you guys have been following my blog for a while, then you know how much I enjoy whipping up fun, easy and delicious cocktails! I’m always on the lookout for good, high quality spirits to make those cocktails – they are always on my wish list, especially during the holidays. 🙂 And as you can imagine, a high quality spirit makes all the difference in a great cocktail.

One spirit that can be always be found in my liquor cabinet is vodka. Specifically, this great tasting Grey Goose Vodka!
There was a time when I used to think all vodkas tasted the same (oh the horror!), but I quickly realized the errors of my ways. Grey Goose Vodka is a really top-notch product. It’s made with high quality ingredients, and you can taste the difference. This Grey Goose Vodka is perfect for any vodka-based cocktail, but even more, they are perfect for gift-giving too!

Grey Goose Vodka now comes in gorgeous gift box packaging that makes it an irresistible gift for anyone. Plus, if you’re lucky, it’s a gift you would get to share and enjoy with the recipient of your gift as well! 🙂 I especially like how the gift packaging comes with a set of nifty cocktail sticks and stirrers. As a food blogger, and avid cocktail drinker, I’m just a sucker for items like these!
Today, I’m sharing a twist on a classic Grey Goose Vodka cocktail. This is my own twist on the Grey Goose L’espresso Martini – which I like to call Campfire White Russian Cocktail! It’s a delicious espresso cocktail with a layer of vanilla white chocolate liqueur, and topped with a toasted marshmallow. What’s not to love?

I made my own white chocolate liqueur for this twist on the Grey Goose l’espresso martini, but you’re more than welcome to use store-bought as well. But really, making your own is so easy. You can get the recipe for that homemade white chocolate liqueur here. Plus, I made that with Grey Goose Vodka as well.
This cocktail is amazing. It’s simple, exquisitely creamy and delicious, and a great way to end any meal. It’s a dessert and a cocktail rolled into one. Make sure to use a good, single origin coffee for the espresso as well.
I was lucky enough to get some help from a local coffee bean supplier to choose a great single origin coffee which turned out to be a perfect fit for this Grey Goose l’espresso martini with a twist

The Grey Goose L’espresso Martini with a twist (Campfire White Russian Cocktail) is made with 1 oz of single origin espresso. Since I don’t own an espresso machine, I made my espresso with my moka pot, which works just fine. You can use either a moka pot, an espresso machine or a coffee pod machine to make the espresso for this cocktail.
However, it’s important to note that if you make the espresso with a moka pot, you won’t be able to produce a thick crema (the gorgeous golden foam that forms at the top of an espresso), but it certainly does NOT take anything away from the luscious, creamy taste of this cocktail.
But you can of course add a thin layer of foam on top if you like. Just make some micro foam from milk and dollop some of that foam over your drink (like you would with an espresso macchiato).

And instead of regular cream (which is traditional in a white russian cocktail), I added a layer of vanilla white chocolate liqueur. My version of homemade white chocolate liqueur adds a touch of extra creaminess and sweetness to this Grey Goose Grey Goose l’espresso martini with a twist (Campfire White Russian Cocktail)!

- Add all the ingredients (except for the white chocolate liqueur and marshmallow) into a shaker with ice cubes and shake vigorously. Strain into a martini cocktail glass.

Milk Froth (optional)
- Once the cocktail is mixed and layered, place the steaming milk in a jug (about 1 ½ cup capacity). Using a milk frother, froth the milk to create micro foam. Once you’ve created the micro foam, swirl the jug to create soft micro foam.
